"Batman Begins" is a superhero film directed by Christopher Nolan, starring Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman. The movie is a reboot of the Batman film series and explores the origin story of the iconic DC Comics character.
The film follows Bruce Wayne, a young boy who witnesses his parents, Thomas and Martha Wayne, being murdered in front of him in the streets of Gotham City. This traumatic event sets him on a path of vengeance and justice. Years later, Bruce travels to the Himalayas to train with the League of Shadows, a secret organization led by Ra's al Ghul (Liam Neeson). Upon his return to Gotham, Bruce becomes determined to fight crime and corruption, using his skills and intellect to create a crime-fighting alter ego: Batman.
"Batman Begins" received widespread critical acclaim for its dark and gritty take on the Batman character, as well as its well-crafted storyline and strong performances. The movie was a commercial success, grossing over $374 million worldwide.
